ABOUT ME:

I was born and raised on Long Island, New York and spent my childhood and adolescence chasing down every creative outlet I could find: school plays, acting in commercials, making student films, writing and starring in bad YouTube comedy skits (now mercifully lost to the annals of history), and being the lead-singer and bassist of a local Pop-Punk act (sadly, still very searchable). Through it all, the main constant remained my love of creative collaboration.

After high school, I studied at Hofstra University, earning a B.A. in Film Production, with a concentration in writing for the screen. While at school, I directed my first musical (Stephen Sondheim’s “Assassins”), took graduate-level playwriting courses, and learned the ins-and-outs of the filmmaking process— with my double minors in creative writing and philosophy rounding out a perfect trifecta of so-called “unemployable” fields of study .

In the days since graduating college, I’ve focused my sights a little more closely on my life-long passion for songwriting. In addition to collaborating on a number of smaller-scale songwriting projects, I am currently composing and writing lyrics for an original, presently untitled musical, which uses folk music to tell a story about a rural opioid-addiction recovery center (more to follow in this website’s “theater” section).

When I’m not working on my musical, I am slowly getting my footing in the film world of New York City, having worked on a variety of independent film projects, as well as project for larger distributors like Netflix and Amazon. I am also an aspiring screenwriter, currently writing a coming of age spec-script.

Additionally, I am the guitarist of the band Horse & Wells, a rock group which infuses indie-rock and emo music with some alt-country elements thrown in. You can check out our latest music on our website.

Thank you for reading.
